Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach are well known for not only their beautiful beaches but their amazing golf communities. Ponte Vedra Beach and the TPC are just a couple of its most well known communities. However, Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach Florida’s amazing weather makes playing year round on any of the golf courses a pleasure!

Here are some of the popular golf course communities in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach: Cimarrone Golf & Country Club, Julington Creek Plantation, Marsh Creek Golf & Country Club, Palencia, South Hampton, St. Johns Golf & Country Club and World Golf Village. The Golf Club at South Hampton is snuggled in South Hampton part of Ponte Vedra Beach, just 10 miles south of Jacksonville and a new planned development community. Building lots are available for new construction and home resales are generally available.

Cimarrone Golf & Country Club is in the Ponte Vedra Beach area and conveniently located off Route I-95 and ten minutes from the World Golf Village. The Champions Club The Champions Club is located in the Julington Creek Plantation community just five (5) miles south of I-295 on State Rd. 13. Marsh Creek Golf & Country Club Marsh Creek Country Club is situated on over 800 acres on Anastasia Island in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida and is Ponte Vedra Beach's only private country club community. It is the ultimate juxtaposition of Intercoastal marshes, beautiful wildlife, and a top-rated championship golf course. Minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches yet this gated community is private and serene. This community is mostly developed with an occasional resale building lot available. Resale homes are generally available in various price ranges.

St Johns Golf & Country Club Carved out of a pine forest, the course at St. Johns Golf & Country Club offers a great test for every skill level. This Clyde Johnston designed course winds through a pine forest and is dotted with water challenges. Located one mile west of I-95 at exit 210 just one exit north of the World Golf Hall of Fame, St. Johns Golf & Country Club presents a challenge for the experienced golfer while offering an enjoyable play for the weekend golfer.

World Golf Village located an equal distance between Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach is known the world over and features two courses, the King & Bear and the Slammer & Squire. Building lots are available as are home resales in various price categories. Additionally, the community has a number of housing options including a retirement complex.

 Ponte Vedra Beach Area Courses

The Plantation at Ponte Vedra is located close to the beach and this gated community has a challenging Arnold Palmer-Ed Seay designed course. There are several building lots still available as well as various resale homes.

TPC Sawgrass Located in Ponte Vedra, this grand gated community has hundreds of homes nestled among 3 outstanding courses. The "Stadium" course is home to the Tournament Players Championship tournament each year. Generally, there are available home resales in various price ranges. Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach are just a short drive away.

Sawgrass Country Club is located in Ponte Vedra and just off of scenic Route A1A and snuggled next to the Atlantic Ocean. The community is built around 27 holes of amazing  golfing and is the largest and most active country club in the area. Amenities include oceanfront dining and the private beach club. Marsh Landing Country Club is located on a 1,700 acre gated community in Ponte Vedra Beach.
